My top 5 Vintage Websites

Scouring flea markets and old unused warehouses is all part of the hunt for glorious vintage finds, I know, but say if you didnt have time or that you didn't want to leave the house and yet still fancied a vintage bargain? Here are my top five best vintage websites:

1. www.rokit.co.uk
Alot of you may know this name for its shops on Brick Lane and Camden High Street but its website is really good too. Easy navigation between categories, specific categories such as Dr Marten's, Military hats and scrunchies as well as the usual Men's/Women's/Skirts/trousers etc.
You can shop by era, 40s, 50s etc and my favourite part? They have 'Rokit Designer's Guild' whereby new emerging designers sell their wares at affordable prices.

2. www.Dollyvintage.com
Run By Alexandra Lucy, this is a website only shop which specialises in leather bags and rare skin bags as well as traditional and modern vintage, ranging from the 1920’s era up to the 1990’s.
Added Bonus? You can hire items from the website if you only need it for a day or two.

3. www.junosayshello.com
This website is run from a studio in Bloomsbury London which specialises in luxury vintage finds from around the world. You can visit the shop by appointment, but what I love most about the website is their "Dress of the Week" section, so if you are in a hurry, or just need some inspiration this is right up your street. The category names make a nice touch with 'Poolside', 'Cocktail' and '70s Glam'too.
Added bonus? There is a studio sale each month where you can pick up a unique piece of clothing  whilst enjoying a glass of champagne and cupcakes. Film and thearte companies in particular can hire items for shows also.

4. www.lovealexandra.com
Love Alexandra is a website that stocks vintage finds from the last four decades that can be adapted to current trends. Not only does it stock vintage clothing with many different categories, it also supports young designers, like Rokit does, by selling their pieces on the website. These ranges are all hand crafted in the UK with intricate details and high quality materials. This website also has a shop in Ickenham if you live nearby why not pop in, or refrain and join us in cyberspace, online.

5. www.vintagemagpies.co.uk
This website brings you a capsule collection of wearable vintage items sold through Ebay each week. Each collection is hand picked to match current trends on the high street, but unique enough that you won't see another person in the same outfit.
I love the 'vintage teaparty' lookbook that is currently on the website.

Feel free to share your own favourites!
