February favourite music artists/songs

1. James Blake - "Limit to your love"  The bass, the voice, and his modest attitude make this guy worth listening to:

2. Jessie J - Yes she's everywhere at the moment but its well deserved with a voice like hers! Her first tune "Do it like a Dude" doesn't portray her talent, "Who you are" shows off her powerful voice with thought provoking lyrics.

3. Jamie Woon -"Night Air" - Ramadan man Remix - Picture yourself sitting below a clear moonlit sky at 2 am in a city, no traffic, or maybe on a beach at nighttime just listening to this (anything to get me away of my London Underground reality). Better than the original (in my opinion), immense bassline, great melody.

4. Mark Ronson feat Boy George - "Somebody to Love" - I haven't listened to this album for a while, love the beat and melody to this song, a real 80s/preppy London Town sound (does that make sense?) to it. Wouldn't have paired Mark Ronson & Boy George at first but now I think it would have been stupid not to. Warning, the video isn't the real one, I don't think its been made yet but if you ever wondered what Boy George got up to...

5. Talay Riley "Sergeant Smash" - Classic rnb for 2011. Check out the acoustic version of his latest track:

New Year Clear out: ditch the old for the new

Happy New Year! It's the end of February so perhaps its bad luck to say that but its my first post of the year :)
As we bid 2010 a farewell last month (be it a fond or fast one), I just had to post about this shoot from last years 5th Anniversary Sept/Oct issue of Wonderland magazine; Katie Price, looking nothing like the old her.
Yes its from 4 months ago but everytime I find this mag someone hasn't yet seen it so I've posted it here for those of you who haven't.
Looking almost unrecognisable (or is that just the black and white photography?), she looks less 'Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' and more natural. Below are my fave shots from the shoot.
Well done to Aitken Jolly who photographed her in this way, maybe she'll swap the old for the new....in an ideal world perhaps.

More to come on Aitken Jolly....
